Doggone Crazy About Planet Dog!

Planet Dog's mission is to amuse, explore, support, innovate, create, educate, celebrate and philanthropate... all in the name of the dog. They "romp the romp" by providing financial resources to those in need, educating consumers about canine-related issues, creating an array of non-toxic and recyclable products, and keeping the tails of "our pack" wagging.

Planet Dog’s flagship initiative is the Planet Dog Foundation. Since 2012, PDF has donated more than $800,000 in cash and product donations. Their internal mantra of "think globally, act doggedly," keeps them focused on the higher cause of why they entered this industry...wagging, drooling, sniffing, snuggling, howling, romping dogs!

My fur babies recently got to try several awesome things from Planet Dog. I love spoiling my pets, but I also care about the environment. Planet Dog makes doing both of those things easy to accomplish! Many of the typical dog toys are made with cheap, toxic plastics and materials in foreign countries for almost nothing. A lot of Planet Dog's toys are made here in the USA, are Eco-Friendly and are totally safe for pets! I hate those dog toys that have that "funky" smell that leaves weird residue on my hands. These toys do not!

I love that Planet Dog has a chew scale so that I can buy toys specifically made for each of my dogs chewing habits. They also offer a wide selection of interactive toys, treats, travel dishes, hemp collars, hemp leashes, hemp harnesses, recycle toys, shampoos, and more! They have so many things, it was hard to choose what to try.

Out of all the toys Planet Dog has to offer, I thought that the Wood Chuck® was the coolest. It is a great toy for me to be able to interact with the dogs. The Planet Dog Wood Chuck® is engineered with sustainable bamboo and recycled cork scraps. A sleek take on other ball-tossing devices, Wood Chuck’s® bamboo core offers strength and maximum chuck-ability with an ergonomic cork handle for comfort and grip-ability throw, after throw, after throw. Wood Chuck’s® 4-pronged claw coupled with the pliant nature of our Orbee-Tuff® toys make it a cinch to grab and throw. Needless to say, we all loved this toy!

Paddington and our newest addition, Tallye, got to try the Planet Dog eats dog treats in PB&J Flavor. These treats are made for Planet Dog by their friends at the Polka Dot Bakery in Boston. These treats are 100% natural and made with wild Maine blueberries. They are also wheat, corn and soy free with no wheat gluten. My dogs were sure to gobble these up, even Tallye who seems to be the slow picky eater. She even discovered how to get them out of the Orbee-Tuff Snoop the quickest! (she is a Border Collie, after all!)

 I really like the Planet Dog Snack Sack. It is aesthetically pleasing as well as durable and functional. This sack is the perfect thing to use on our hiking trips and car rides. The On the Go Snack Sack was inspired by those nifty chalk bags carried by rock climbers, but ours holds Planet Dog eats, other healthy treats, or kibble. The on the go Snack Sack can be easily clipped or velcroed to your waist. Perfect for positive training outside or in the house.It comes in a variety of colors.

The On the Go Food and Water Bowl is really clever. It also comes in a variety of cool colors, and holds up to all sorts of hiking and camping trips. This bowl is
collapsible, rollable, stuffable, very packable. This on-the-go food and water bowl pops open for easy access and sits flat for stability. The perfect traveling companion for your favorite travel companion. You can even machine wash it!

As you can see, my dogs really loved the Orbee-Tuff Snoop. The Orbee-Tuff® Snoop® challenges and triggers the brain in fun and stimulating ways. Snoop is translucent and squishy with a deep crevice that conceals the treasure. Filled with treats, my dogs pounced, nudged, nosed and nibbled to release the hidden reward.The Planet Dog Treats fit perfectly, and my dogs loved trying to get them out. Paddy wasn't was good at it as Tallye, but he had fun!
