"We're a family company. "
In every sense. GimMe Health Foods is
owned and operated by Annie Chun and her husband Steve Broad. They are food
lovers, parents, experienced entrepreneurs, and roasted seaweed
fanatics.
After starting, growing, and ultimately selling their first natural food company—Annie Chun’s, one of the leading Asian food brands in the U.S., they were inspired to do it again. One evening, their family was sitting around the dinner table brainstorming when Annie and Steve's teenaged daughter Mia had a great idea—start a company that sells the best possible roasted seaweed in delicious new flavors. They all love roasted seaweed and have been eating this healthy Asian snack for years.
So they did..
They call it gimMe, also Mia’s idea, because gim means seaweed in Korean—and because it tastes so good, everyone wants more.
Trying to eat organic can be a bit tricky at times, especially when looking for yummy snacks. GimMe is exactly what I have been looking for! I was super excited to get to try a variety of their products. Their seaweed snacks are organic, delicious, and unique from other seaweed snack companies.
I love the different flavor varieties GimMe offers. Cheddar Cheese being my favorite. But honestly, they all taste amazing. I love seaweed. Not only is it nutritious, but it is quite tasty as well. GimMe takes an already amazing food and creates something wonderful out of it.
Seaweed has the highest density of vitamins and minerals of any vegetable on the planet! So even if you think eating seaweed sounds gross, you should give it a go! The health benefits are worth it, and if you try GimMe, your taste buds won't regret it! Seaweed is packed with Umami, a newly discovered taste that is so profound that it may be added to our 4 basic tastes, coming in at number 5. Just one reason why sushi is so darn good..
I rather enjoyed eating my GimMe seaweed snacks right out of the package, but they were also very delicious on other foods such as pizza, pasta, and salad!
GimMe is offering one lucky reader the same gift pack I received!
