Indie Lee Moisturizing Oil Review

When it comes to skin care, I have been pretty lax about it. I confess to not washing my face as often as I should, and I know that I should moisturize, exfoliate, and that whole get up. I don't want to regret not taking care of my skin earlier when I get older, so I decided to come up with a beauty routine. I was scouring the net for a skin product that I might actually enjoy when I stumbled upon Indie Lee.
I am a big believer in using natural products, as I really feel that the chemical laden products we have been tricked into using are causing more problems than they are solving. How many times do you see an ad for a product where the warning and side effect list takes up the majority of the ad? But to be fair, at least the pharmaceutical companies have to list the side effects, while the cosmetic companies get to cruelly test on animals while charging us to poison ourselves without telling us what may happen if we use their product.

Indie Lee takes all of that worry away. Their products are all natural, cruelty free and have minimal ingredients. When researching more about their company, I learned why they strive to create such a great collection of products. Indie Lee, the creator, created the company after conquering a life threatening brain tumor. The tumor was linked to environmental toxins. Indie was impassioned to create a product line derived from the finest of ingredients from all over the world.

The product I got to try out was the Indie Lee Vanilla Citrus Moisturizing Oil. It is a hydrating, all purpose oil made for the face, body and hair. It is specially formulated with jojoba oil (my favorite oil) apricot oil to soothe and hydrate, and essences of vanilla and sweet orange for an intoxicating aroma. It is amazingly ideal for all skin types, which is great for my fluctuating skin. I really enjoyed the scent, which I was unsure of at first. It is really subtle and reminds me of those orange popsicles with the ice cream inside. They also offer a Patchouli Sandalwood moisturizing oil as well as a Lavender Chamomile moisturizing oil. If I had the choice, I think I would have went with the Patchouli Sandalwood. I am a patchouli fanatic. The smell is so calm and earthy.

I really enjoy the bottle that the Indie Lee moisturizing oil came in. I am not yet sure if I can refill it with something else, but I can definitely reuse it somehow. I am really into upcycling things as of late. (check out my Upcycling board on Pinterest)It is a great way to get creative and make something out of what others may deem as trash. Upcycling is great because it has little to no impact on the environment (minus keeping junk out of the landfills, of course!)

I am absolutely in love with the way this oil makes my skin and hair feel and look. After showering I apply the oil all over, focusing mainly on my tattoos, dry areas, face, and ends of my hair. I really notice a difference when wearing the oil as opposed to not wearing it. What I love most about this Indie Lee moisturizing oil is the way it brings out the color in my Paisley bird tattoo. I have been suing JoJoba oil on my tattoo since it healed, so it was a no brainer to apply the Indie Lee.

Indie Lee offers a variety of other all natural products for the body and face. They also keep up with a pretty awesome blog full of helpful/interesting information. I urge you to check it out!:

Disclosure: I received the above item in return for an honest, sincere review. I was not expected to leave a positive review, and would never post something I didn't feel fully confident in. The above opinion is the sole opinion of Paisley and her family, and may differ from your own.
