Jewelry With a Twist! Featuring- Twisted Sisters' Designs

When it comes to jewelry, I tend to pick pieces that are unique, standing out as much as I do! Or pieces to remind me of memories, distant but not forgotten.

I have a vibrant personality, and I am in love with colors.
I love all things earthy and celestial.

When I pick jewelry, I pick pieces that speak to me.

I really appreciate jewelry that is handmade, allowing you feel the love and effort that was put into it. This is why I love the gals at Twisted Sister's Designs, and the wonderful jewelry their beautiful minds dream up.

I was sent the most gorgeous pendant.
Hand painted, and full of love.

Be sure to check out their website!
Twisted Sisters' Designs offers many one of a kind pieces!

Confession: I am addicted to socks- featuring Socksmith

I cannot believe I haven't mentioned it until now. I am a total sock junkie. Which is actually kind of odd because my feet tend to sweat a lot, and don't really appreciate the sock wearing. Alas, that is a different story. I love socks, so who cares what my feet want?!

I have been collecting socks since I was a little girl. My mom always bought me the craziest socks, and it has kind of stuck with me ever since. As I got older, I would do little jobs around the house or yard to save up for my sock fund. I love how socks are such a simple way of showing off your personality without dressing like a crazy person.

I was really excited when I stumbled across Socksmith. They carry one of the widest selections of socks I have ever laid eyes on. Socksmith is based in Santa Cruz and was created by Ellen and Eric Gil 25 years ago. I love how they started creating socks they wish existed, because I always wanted socks like these.

I especially love the owl socks! (I have been collecting owls for quite some time now) The pair shown above (and below) are the Horned Owl socks. The pair of owl socks shown below that are Night Owl Socks in red.

The next pair of socks were a surprise pair. I am not a huge fan of little dogs (especially the ones that cannot seem to breathe..), but I think pugs looks hilarious. So these Pugs socks were a delight, to say the least!

These Sushi socks are pretty freakin' cool! I am a huge fan of sushi. I was eating so much of it, I had to learn to make it myself. It is actually really fun and easy! You can find my recipe for sushi here: sushi recipe. These socks are a constant reminder of my love of sushi, and they are adorable!

I also really loved the Yellow Submarine socks. I grew up listening to The Beatles, so it was only natural that I would be keen on these socks!

I was also sent a pair of Giraffe Knee High socks. I unfortunately forgot to specify which color choice I wanted, and was sent the black pair instead of the really cute yellow pair. The black pair is cute too, but I think the yellow ones would have been way cuter, and I would have worn them a lot more. Apparently, I learned a lesson. Always specify which color you want! A lot of these socks have different color options, which I would have chosen instead. Opps.. Which ones do you like more? See the comparison below:

The last pair of socks I was sent were the Foxy Love socks. I love this pair! They are so adorable! Even my sisters cat loved them :) ;) But again.. I should have specified because I would have loved the brown!

Socksmith literally has so many cute socks it hurts. I want to own every.single.pair but there is NO WAY! Even though their prices are great ($7.50/pair avg) I could not afford them all as there are so many different styles.

These cute socks are a perfect stocking stuffer gift, and a great way to show someone you care about that you know their personality!

Feeling Good Vibes from Native Vibe Style Jewelry

I own a lot of pretty jewelry.
I love every single piece.

But some of them seem to speak to me.

The Whisperer Necklace from Native Vibe Style
is exactly that type of piece. It is a natural white druzy with brown grizzly and light gray feathers. It was cleared and charged with positive energy especially for me. Your pieces would be cleared for you as well!

How cool is that?!

The jewelry from Native Vibe Style is gorgeous as well as unique in it's own way. Each piece is hand selected by Jasmine, a certified Reiki Master. She intuitively picks each piece before sending it. You can really feel her good vibes behind each piece, making it an experience to remember the first time you put the jewelry on. Continuing to make you smile from each wear thereafter.

For those who don't know, Reiki is a combination of two words. Rei meaning "Higher Power" and Ki meaning "Life Force Energy", coming together to mean "spiritually guided life force energy". It is a Japanese technique for stress relief and relaxation. Reiki also promotes healing. When life force energy is low, we tend to get sick more often and be more stressed. Reiki is not a religion, and has dogma. You should really look into it! :)

^the feather is wet because my dog decided to taste it.. haha

Feel the Positive Energy with this Gorgeous Quartz Line Necklace from Susan Meier Jewelry

Before indulging you in all the wonderfulness that is Susan Meier Jewelry, I must fill you in on my fascination with stones. I am, and always have been, a very earth person. I am easily mesmerized by things that most people probably don't even notice. I tend to pocket rocks from my random adventures as I can feel the epicness that went into forming them. You can find them stashed in all corners of my home, tucked away in nooks and crannys, boxes, and drawers, flooding me with memories every time I happen upon them.

I take time to close my eyes when the wind blows, inhaling until my lungs threaten to burst. When I come across a trickling stream, I always slip my shoes off and dip my toes in. I see the textures, I inhale the aromas, I embrace all that is living and natural in the world <3

So it should come as no surprise that I have several crystals.
I can't get enough of them!

I love quartz crystals because they can be a great benefit in taking steps towards personal growth. Quartz strengthens the energy that you put out, making the steps towards your personal growth easier. The amplified energy that is sent back to you from the quartz crystal helps you make positive attitude changes until they actually become part of who you are. Now before you get ahead of yourself, the crystal is not going to do all of the work! It is always up to you if you decide to change your attitude :)

Susan Meier Jewelry is made by two lovely sisters, Susan and Allyson in the beautiful Philadelphia, PA. I love how everything they make is hand crafted and natural, using things such as rough cut gemstones, freshwater pearls, gold vermeil and sterling silver. Their pieces are unique, modern, and created to be mixed and matched (which I love!).

I chose the Long Quartz Line Necklace. It is stunning!

I loved watching it as it playfully swayed with the wind.

I created a style guide with pieces I would love to mix and match!:

b.) Quartz Earrings- #38
c.) Druzy Wrap Bracelet- White Circle- sold out :(
d.) Signature Ring- $50

I think you deserve to spoil yourself!
Or at least spoil someone else :)

Stay tuned for a giveaway featuring a piece (almost)just like the one I reviewed!
