Newmans Own Organics Review and Giveaway

I am sure many of you have heard of Newmans Own by now. But did you know that they have an entirely separate line of awesome organic products!? I have tried a few here and there when I see them available, but neverin my life did I think I would get to try so many items at one time. Newmans Own Organis was generous enough to send a huge (I mean HUGE) box of treats over for my family to try out.

I am obviously not going to go into detail about each snack I tried. I have gotten around to taste testing many of the items shown above, but the process is a slow one. We don't eat many packaged foods in my household, especially not snacks.  But when we do, we like to choose organic. Newmans Own organics makes it easy to do that. They make a large variety of items making it easy to find something for everyone and then some! Since I get to choose four of my favorites to give to one lucky reader, I will tell you about the ones I have picked.

I really enjoyed the licorice sticks. I have a huge sweet tooth, especially for candy. Since I rarely eat sweets, I was dying to sink my teeth into some of these. The first flavor I tried was the Sour Apple. It is definitely my favorite. Mango was my least favorite, but hey, I hate mangos. 

 

The sour twists left me wanting something sweet, but not overly so. This left me eager to try the chocolate bars. The chocolate is organic and Rainforest Alliance certified, which I love. My favorite flavor of Newmans Organic chocolate was the Espresso Dark. It had little espresso elements about it that I fell in love with. I was resistant to share this bar with others, but I eventually did (unfortunately).

                                                                

Next, I tried out the Newman-Os! These cookies are OMG good. They come in a variety of flavors, including a couple interesting ones. The Ginger-Os were definitely something I have never seen before and ended up being my favorites. These cookies are perfect if looking to switch to an organic version of a similar snack. Don't let the fact that these products are organic fool you. They are still laden with calories and sugars, but are overall a better choice than the mainstream store junk food brands.

Lastly, the product I choose to share with you is the Dark Chocolate Caramel Cups. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. In my opinion, it is pretty cruel that these tasty guys only come 3 per pack, but I suppose I am better off that way! The chocolate could be a bit darker in my opinion, as the caramel itself is uber sweet. Despite the sweetness, they are still my favorite. The other Newmans Chocolate cups are yummy as well, but there is just something about the Dark Chocolate Caramel cups. If only they would introduce a Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Cup.. *hint hint*
