Day 1 of 15 Days of Giveaways- Merlot Skincare

I recently received several items from Merlot Skincare. As their name implies, their products are made with grape seed oil (which is known to have many benefits). Merlot products are free of fragrance and great for sensitive skin, made in the USA and does not conduct animal testing. Boy, was it ever a spa day when this package arrived!:

First, I tried the Purifying Peel-off Mask. It is gentle and quick-drying while removing impurities form your skin. Unlike other masks I have used, this one doesn't leave my face dry. I tend to have really dry skin, especially on my face and even more so during the colder months.
Secondly, I decided to try out the Clay Mask. No, I did not use it immediately after the Peel-Off mask. I let my sister use it instead. She says it worked great! She tends to have oily skin, and this mask works to draw out excess oils as it dries. After the mask has dried it is super easy to wash off.
Thirdly, I used the Hydrating Toner. This is hands-down my favorite product from this set. I know how important it is for my skin to follow the 3 basic steps: Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturize. This toner helped clean my pores while preparing it for moisturizing. I love that it is alcohol free, and how tight and soft my face felt after using it.
Next, I tried the Grape Seed Moisturizer. It is not oily, and even has some SPF for sun protection.
Lastly, I used the Lip Moisturizer. I don't wear lipstick or gloss often, but I can guarantee that I always have some type of lip moisturizer on! I think I have close to 50 different sticks of lip moisturizer. If that doesn't make me an aficionado, I don't what does.

Overall, I really like Merlot Skincare! It is hard to find a company that makes such good products in several categories. Merlot makes it easy to shop in one place.

*Although I try to choose only organic products in my day-to-day, living a normal life sometimes makes it hard. I want to be able to review products that everyone may enjoy, not just a select few. Despite this company not being organic, they produce a good product that I happen to enjoy. I can only hope that after their business grows, they will choose to follow a more rigid all natural/organic process.
