Day 3 of 15 days of Giveaways-Repurpose Compostables

As time goes on I am getting better about being more eco friendly. It was hard at first, but after awhile, it got easier! But.. to be honest, I am a bit lazy. I have always enjoyed using paper plates and plastic utensils. I absolutely abhor washing dishes. My hands get dirty and dried out, I use too much water, and I sometimes just cannot find time in the day to wash dishes (I do not own a dishwasher). As much as I have tried to kick the disposable utensil habit, I just couldn't. Luckily Repurpose Compostables came to my rescue!

They were kind enough to send over a great variety of things for me to try (and fall in love with). My favorite item was the Cutlery.

These are not traditional plastic utensils. They are made from plants, not petroleum. They are also certified compostable, so they break down in a matter of months, not millenia. Best of all they have the same look and feel as the utensils you're used to-while still being eco-friendly. With their heat tolerant technology Repurpose cutlery stands up to hot soups and other warm food while maintaining its strength. So grab some for your next picnic or party for easy, guilt-free clean up.

In my opinion, these are the nicest throwaway utensils I have ever used.  I rinsed them off to use several more times before throwing into my compost bin.

Disclosure: I received the above item in return for an honest, sincere review. I was not expected to leave a positive review, and would never post something I didn't feel fully confident in. The above opinion is the sole opinion of Paisley and her family, and may differ from your own. I am not responsible for prize shipments.
