I feel that Valerie's (Vali for short!) story is too nice to paraphrase. Read about she started her company, and this wonderful line here. She makes some amazing essential oil products.
She has created so many wonderful products that range from:
I got to try several of her essential oil blends as well as the Sleep line. I definitely need some help in that category, so I was more than excited to give it a go.
My Thoughts
Sleep Mini Vials
Using the Sleep products have quickly become my new bedtime ritual. Just a single drop on the corner of my pillowcase immediately calms me down, and helps me focus on getting some much needed sleep. I enjoy using it during the day as well by adding a drop or two to an oil diffuser as well as my tart warmer to relieve stress. I love how it eases me into a peaceful sleep as well as comforting me during times of stress. The concentrate is the most potent of the sleep collection. (If you are opposed to putting drops directly onto your pillowcase, you can also put a drop on a tissue or cotton ball and tuck into the corner of the pillowcase instead.)Ingredients: Essential oils (from plants) of lavender, marjoram, cedarwood & ylang/ylang.
Sleep Soothing Mist
I love this product! Maybe not as much as the Mini Vials, but the mist is more versatile. It is the most gentle of the sleep collection. It can be used to spray onto sheets and corners of a pillowcase as well as misting the room to freshen the air. My pets and I both have allergies, and this product doesn't make us sneeze one bit!
Ingredients: Essential oils (from plants) of lavender, marjoram, cedarwood & ylang/ylang in a base of distilled water.
Refresh Energy Mist
This is one of my favorite mists to spray onto furniture and directly into the air. It is rejuvenating and energizing as its essences will boost your energy during those mid afternoon slumps or any time you need a pick me up. All the essences come from the peel of fruit – very sunny and uplifting. You can even use it as a body spray!Ingredients: Essential oils (from plants) of orange, lemon & grapefruit in a base of distilled water.
Analgesic Balm
Relief Analgesic Balm is used to ease the discomfort of aches and pains, due to chronic conditions, arthritis, sports injuries, headaches and overall discomfort. It is suitable for smaller areas. Massage the areas where you experience pain. It is safe to use several times a day and absorbs easily into the skin. Just like Vali, I love to massage my feet with Relief balm! Especially after being on them all day or after a nice hike. It works great in lessening the impact of my headaches. I just dab some on the tip of my finger and rub it onto my temples as well as where my lymph nodes are in the back of my neck/ears. The scent is very comforting to me.Ingredients: Essential oils (from plants) of lavender, peppermint& birch blended into a base of almond oil, jojoba, beeswax, coconut oil, soybean oil, aloe vera and tocopherol (Vitamin E).
Massage and Bath Oils
I got to try several varieties, but my overall favorite was the Fortify. It has quickly became on of my favorite scents, and I cannot wait to try some of the other Fortify products. It is a grounding, comforting and restorative blend, and is very helpful when I am feeling emotionally fragile. I just massage well into the skin all over my body, or even just applied to specific areas. I like to use it after a bath or shower while skin is still moist as to moisturize and scent the skin. It can also be added to the bath as well. Just a cap or two will do ya!Ingredients: Essential oils (from plants) of cedarwood, rosewood & spruce in a base of 100% pesticide free golden jojoba.
Overall Feelings
I am absolutely in love with all of the products Valerie has sent me. They are all so calming, no matter the scent or what the use is intended for. I am wearing the Refresh Massage oil on my wrists as I type, and the scent keeps wafting up towards my nose. Every time this happens, it causes me to pause, close my eyes, and inhale deeply. Such a wonderful woodsy scent. I need this in a room spray. It reminds me of the smells while hiking in Austin, Texas. Boy do I miss that place! I wish I could smell like this always. It brings me much comfort.Connect with Vali
