John William Macy's Cheeseticks, Crisps, and Sweetsticks Review

About John Wm. Macy's

Long before John Wm. Macy's CheeseSticks' wholesale bakery operation or online "snack store" existed, John Macy created a "snack factory" right in his kitchen! They say the heart and soul of food comes from the kitchen. John Macy has been at home in the kitchen for most of his life. During his college years he catered clambakes for summer residents on Martha’s Vineyard and later briefly apprenticed to his uncle, a cordon bleu trained chef and caterer.

In the mid 1970s, just out of college, John started Easy Cook Eaty, a small catering business in Northern California. Never one to choose ready-made appetizers from the available snack brands, John developed a spicy, twisted breadstick made by laminating multiple layers of sharp cheddar cheese and fresh sourdough, hand-twisting strips of the layered dough and baking them twice to a satisfying crunch. John's "CheeseSticks" were an instant hit at his catered events. His crispy and quick appetizers became the most popular of John's party food ideas. - See more at: About Cheesesticks.

I was impressed by the different varieties they have to offer:
  • Romano Garlic CheeseSticks
  • Dijon Swiss CheeseSticks
  • Cheddar & Scallion CheeseSticks
  • Melting Parmesan CheeseSticks
  • Asiago & Cheddar CheeseCrisps
  • Smoked Jalapeño CheeseCrisps
  • Sesame Gruyere CheeseCrisps
  • Melting Romano CheeseCrisps
  • Java Cinnamon SweetSticks
  • Madagascar Vanilla SweetSticks
  • Dutch Chocolate SweetSticks

My Thoughts
Out of all the flavors I got to try, I enjoyed the Java Cinnamon SweetSticks the best. They went perfectly with a hot cup of coffee. I can't wait to try out some of their recipes
