The Common Good Glass Cleaner Review

About Common Good

Common Good was launched in 2010 because the creators were using too much plastic.
Cleaning products in particular were responsible for the giant bags of recycling which left their house each week. When they couldn't find anywhere to refill their bottles, they decided to do it themselves.

As former stylists and parents, they set out to make effective products that look great on the countertop and were safe to use around kids and pets. Along with their friends and neighbors, they've come to care a great deal about what they brought into their home. They developed green formulas that they're proud. They include all of the ingredients on their labels so customers can decide what's best for their families.

My Thoughts

I just recently got the chance to try out Common Good for the first time ever. They sent me a bottle of their Tea Tree Glass Cleaner. Living in a camper, I don't often get around to doing the windows because honestly, they just don't matter. The screens are on the inside, and make it WAY too difficult to clean even if I wanted to. Now, I do in fact have mirrors. I was stoked to try this product on them, as I am always left with annoying little streaks. When I do my makeup I am constantly freaking out, "WTF is on my face!?" Oh it's nothing, just a smudge on the mirror. With Common Good I am left with streak free windows and mirrors every time. I love it. I like that the scent of the product isn't as overwhelming as other cleaners that are on the market. The ingredients are simple and easy to pronounce (the hardest one being the scientific name for Tea Tree oil!). This product is not tested on animals and is biodegradable. If you are lucky enough to live near a refilling station, you can take your bottles in to refill them with more Common Good products (and sometimes you can even bring in your own containers!).

I really like the look and feel of the Common Good products, not to mention the quality of them! I was rather pleased with the product I was sent, despite not being able to use it as much as I might have used one of their other products. In the future, I would really like to try out the Common Good Lavender scented Dish Soap. It comes in a 16oz glass jar, making it highly reusable and very classy. I do ALL of my dishes by hand, so it is always very important to me to find a dish soap that I can trust.
