Needless to say we were all excited when given the opportunity to review their dog and cat line. I was rather impressed by the amount and variety of items we received.
Newman's Own Dog Food:
I let Paddington try the canned food on top of some dry food. He was eager to eat it before it even left the can. It doesn't seem to smell as awful as a lot of other brands of canned dog food, and the contents don't look bad either. Their isn't a lot of greasy, goop, and no visible randoms.

I added it to the top of the Newmans dry dog food. He gobbled it up in seconds, and even polished off the dry food that was underneath! Such a proud mama I am!Newman's Own Organic Cat Food:
Before I even got to start taking photos of the array of cat products Newman's sent, Cosmo Cat was already all up in Paddy's business wondering where her share was. She is such a demanding, bratty kitty, but I love her anyway.
I don't feed Cosmo wet food often. It is more served to her as a treat. She likes her dry food, but absolutely loves the wet food. Honestly though, if she had it her way she would always eat dog food. She is constantly stealing Paddington's food. I like to give her a dollop of wet food on top of her dry food. She goes crazy for it, and usually winds up on an eating spree, gobbling up her dry food and branching out to the dog bowl. She was freaking out when I opened the can of Newman's.
She tends to get mad when I don't work quick enough for her. Silly kitten.
So, all in all, my pets love Newman's Own Organics pet food. It may start a fight between my fur babies. but it is worth it in the long run. Getting to see them sleeping on the couch with full, satisfied tummies is a sight to see. Thank you Newman's!

ReplyDeleteI have both kitties, both of which are rescues and dogs but if I win I'd definately choose the dog sampler. My dogs enjoy trying néw stuff and I've been wanting to try newmans own, particularly the dry food and treats and see how they like it. I like organic foods for my fur kids and I'm very choosey about what my dogs eat. With so many recalls, especially of food and treats made in china, I'm very careful about what I give them. I'm not a huge fan of canned food, but of course the dogs love it so I use it much like you, just a spoon full on top of their dry food. They would love to try out these products!
