Have you ever seen a chip in the shape of a whale tail before? Me neither, until I had the opportunity to try out Whale Tail Tortilla Chips. Their fun shaped chips are not only cute, but are delicious and a healthier alternative to regular tortilla chips. Whale Tail chips are made from 100% organic corn, Kosher, naturally gluten free and non GMO. I really love that these guys are also supporting the whales through many whale related organizations.

My favorite flavor was the Hawaiian Barbeque. I am a huge fan of barbeque chips in general, but these are not your average, run of the mill barbeque chip. They are sweetened with sun ripened mango. When I read this on the bag, I was apprehensive of trying them. I absolutely detest mangoes. I saved this bag for last. To my disbelief, I thoroughly enjoyed this flavor. It is so unique, and the mango is in no way overpowering. I ate these chips primarily with hummus, and it was a delightful combo.
Whale Tail Chips also come in Blue Tor"chia". A cute play on words eluding to the fact that these chips do indeed contain chia seeds, as well as blue corn. They also have a Hawaiian Sea Salt flavor which is their original tortilla chip. Their chips are available in 1.5 oz and 9 oz bags.

I think I would most like to try the Hawaiian Sea Salt flavor as those are the ones that I think I would like the best. I'm also a little intrigued by the idea of the Blue Tor"chia" chips, too. I love hummus so it's good to know that the chips go well with it. mary987 (at) hotmail (dot) com
