Day 5 of 15 Days of Giveaways-Heavenly Hands by Julie

For Julie, it all started with essential oils. But it didn't start out so positive. She thought using natural skin care products meant that they were unscented and boring. In fact, she absolutely hated the lotion her dermatologist recommended for her. She didn't want to put aside her much adored scented lotion to use something that she didn't like at all. But unfortunately for Julie, her skin just couldn't handle all of the nasty artificial ingredients in those products she loved so much, the fragrance in particular. Her hands would be red, dry and itchy.  For years she sacrificed being herself for the sake of her hands, and used the boring stuff. Then one day, she was looking at her jar of coconut oil and lavender essential oils and thought to herself,"What if?"

From that moment on, Julie knew what she had to do. She has taken a few simple, natural items and transformed them into something magnificent. She had created a product that she was yearning for, and it worked for her! She could have products that smelled appealing to her as well as leaving her hands soft and free from irritation.

In the first year she has branched out into scrubs, body butters, lip gloss, sunscreen, massage oil, body wash and promise that much more is on the way! Julie currently has products in two local stores.

You can really tell that Julie is passionate about what she does. I am so thankful for getting to try her awesome products. They truly are a masterpiece. I got to try:

The lotion is so creamy and doesn't seem to leave my hands greasy, like some other handmade lotions tend to do. They boast a light fragrance that doesn't linger. I really like that.

The lip gloss is fantastic! Julie offers several different flavors. I got to try the Strawberry Cream and the Orange Cream. I don't tend to use lip gloss in pots as often as tubes, but I really should. They are easier to reuse. the scent of these are so delicate and yummy. I find it hard not to lick off my lips, but I have gotten better about it.
