Over 30 years ago Auromère Ayurvedic Imports started as a small community-owned business that became one of the first companies to introduce Ayurveda to the U.S. Today Auromere is a leading importer of Ayurvedic body care, conscious living products and literature. Auromère’s mission is to bring the ancient spiritual and traditional healing wisdom of India and a higher consciousness within reach of our modern, fast-paced lives.
More than just natural, the wild-crafted herbs and minerals used within the Auromère recipes are noted for their unique beneficial and rejuvenative qualities. The purity and effectiveness of the Ayurvedic ingredients, formulations and manufacturing procedures make Auromère products distinctively different and delightfully powerful for maintaining health, well-being, and beauty. Products include toothpaste, mouth wash, handmade soaps, neem balm, shampoo, mud bath, massage oil, body lotion, aromatherapy incense and more. In addition to that, Auromère imports a wide range of books on Ayurveda, Holistic Health, Integral Yoga, and classical spiritual texts from India.
The product I really wanted to try was the Incense. I often suffer from allergies while burning incense because it is made of lesser quality ingredients. It is a bit harder than one might think to find higher quality incense. I have been longing for some quality incense sticks for awhile, and Auromère came to my rescue! I got to try three different scents from the Aromatherapy line. The fragrances I chose were: Patchouli, Indian Cedar, and Lavender. I am completely smitten with any earthy or herbal type of fragrance. What I love about these fragrances is that they each offer a unique effect.
The Lavender incense promotes a steadying influence on the psyche, tempering extreme emotional states with a sense of rationality. Counteractive for stress, anger, depression, hypertension, mood sings, insomnia, etc
The Ceder incense is Calming and elevating, anti-depressive, helps develop a sense of self-control, integrity and fortitude, clears the mind (good for daydreamers and the absent-minded), helpful for breath control (pranayama).
The Patchouli (my personal favorite) strengthens the nerves and stimulates the senses, it acts as an anti-depressive, helps put problems into perspective, and is regenerative.
I LOVE that these incense sticks are hand rolled. Makes for a better product!
I use these incense with an open state of mind, oftentimes while meditating or doing yoga. Each scent really paints a different picture for me as I focus on my breathing while enjoying the delicate and aromatic smoke billowing around me.
