Boiron Review and Giveaway

About Boiron

Boiron was founded in 1932 in Lyon, France, by twin brothers and pharmacists Jean and Henri Boiron. The Boiron Group has a strong sense of obligation to respect the environment. The preparation of their medicines has a limited impact on the environment. The main effects derive from extracting raw materials (continuity of species gathered), water pollution (mainly organic and biodegradable) and waste. As a counterbalance, Boiron promotes re-supplying wild or organically-farmed plants when possible. This sequentially improves the quality of raw materials used.

Additionally, the Boiron Group works with 120 botanist-harvesters. These specialists are well-versed in diagnosing the land and employing harvesting strategies to anticipate continuity of supplies for the future. They generally harvest plants from their natural surroundings, which are then used fresh and wild in accordance with the balance of nature and the specifications of the principal pharmacopoeia.

My Thoughts

I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Boiron, so was naturally very excited when chosen to review their products. I was sent several great products: Oscillococcinum, Arnicare Gel, and Children's Chestal Cough. I was pleased with what I was sent, and look forward to trying out more of their products in the future. Boiron has more products than I ever imagined, check it out!

Oscillococcinum temporarily relieves flu-like symptoms such as body aches, headache, fever, chills and fatigue. It is non-drowsy, has zero side effects, doesn't have any interactions with other drugs, and it works naturally with your body. I love how easy it is to take, and wish that it was around when I was a little kid. Oscillo® has been shown in clinical studies to help reduce both the duration and the severity of flu-like symptoms.

Children's Chestal Cough temporarily relieves dry cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold and helps relieve chest congestion by loosening mucus and thinning bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive. It is suitable for children 2 to 12 years of age (not sure why I was sent the Children's variety..) I love that it is non-drowsy, allowing me to take it during the day without worry.

Arnicare Gel temporarily relieves muscle pain and stiffness due to minor injuries, overexertion and falls, as well as reducing pain, swelling and discoloration from bruises. I love how this product doesn't ever leave my skin greasy, and the ingredients leave me with a peace of mind. I really enjoy the coolness of the gel when applying it on my skin, and it gets to work fast!
